Do I need a spawn lab from the start?
No. Most first-time growers buy mother spawn from established suppliers (₹80–120/kg). Add a spawn lab only when daily production crosses 300 kg/day or you want to sell spawn to other farmers.
What land area is required?
A 100 kg/day 4-room unit needs ~3,000 sq ft built-up (roughly 5,000 sq ft plot). A 300 kg/day 8-room farm needs ~7,000 sq ft built-up. Mushroom farming is land-light versus open-field crops.
Where do I sell the mushrooms?
